Gross things no one tells you about being pregnant

Here are some gross things no one tells you about being pregnant:

*Moles popping up. All over.

*Skin tags. All over. Sickening.

*Constant heatstroke. Espesh now, in the summer. This goes with gross sweating. All over.

*The lovely "brown line" linea negra down your stomach. Just when you think you're safe, it hits you at almost 39 weeks.

*Skin darkening, especially in areas like your pits. They look dirty all the time. Sickening.

*Loss of feeling in fingers due to carpal tunnel/swelling. NOT COOL.

*Feet that swell up and only fit in size 10 Nike slides from Target. Hideous. For the love.

*Again with the sweating.

*Itching. Everywhere. Especially your back. When you can't reach around because you've lost your flexibility.

*Apparent snoring. (I'm not sure I believe this one, Jason.)

*Stuffy nose-at night, when you're trying to sleep.

*Ability to not sleep, even though you feel like you were run over by a Mack.

I'm sure there are more, but right now, this is what's plaguing me.

Share your untold symptoms below.

Now, who wants to get knocked up???

  1. To play devil's advocate, if you're feeling stuffy when you sleep, you might be breathing heavier, ergo, sounding like you're "snoring"?

And no. To getting knocked up. At least for another three years. Have your third kid three years from now and we can be preggo together, ha!

  4. Hahaha! I love it. And so, so agree with the sweating. I swear I sweat for 20 minutes after I come inside from outdoors. So gross. And my feet, they sweat buckets in my heels at work.

And the line could appear at 39 weeks?!?!? Heartbreaking. I was already feeling a little confident that it hadn't appeared. HA!

I also groan like an old man when I try to get up off the couch or roll over in bed.

  7. So much to look forward to again the second time around. Yay. For me, one of my worst problems was how much my hips hurt. Ugh.

  8. The MOLES!!! Seriously!!! Why is that not in the precious books?!? I have like 20 extra on my body after having Mills (most of them on my upper stomach, random)! Really attractive, right??? Gotta get some of those babies removed after I'm done having babies! :) At least back to my original count...that's only fair! ha!
