I know there are tons more, but like I said, I get overwhelemed on Etsy.

There are so many chocies and the owners will make your item ANY way you want it!

I am leaning heavily towards getting both choices three and four.

It's Friday. And It's Random

Well, thank God it's Friday, because after this week, being random is all I've got going for me.

Week one of CRCT standardized testing=OVER! One more week to go. Then, ummmmmmmm, I guess I'll teach fourth grade skills. :) I kid, I kid. Kind of.

Let's get started with some bullet points. With plenty of room for you to share your opinions and advice, okay??

*I am STILL hunting a moderately priced big sis/little bro shirt combo for Emma and HME. I know  I can make my own, but please. Full time job, kid, husband, home, pregnant. NOT HAPPENING. Feel free to make one for me though. All colors/designs accepted. I'll give you my address. (Not joking.)

*Curtains-preferably blackout-for Emma's new room. Where can I find them or have them made where I won't spend $100 or more on curtains?? I don't know about stuff like this. Help me, please.

*Rug-for Emma's new room. Where can I find one, again, for not a lot of money? I want a cute crochet type hook rug, but have a feeling that will cost me. I mean, I guess I could go on Etsy and type in rug. But I may be there for DAYS sorting through all of the rugs.

*HUGE shout out to my hoochies, LG, Sister, Mere, and Brooke for hooking a hoochie up with her dream stroller! I love y'all and appreciate you donating to my cause of frivolity. The stroller is awesome, has already been used with two kidlets in it, and gotten a super pointy screw in the back tire. Yeah, that's nice. I'll have to get a new tire evench. (Their tires are foam filled, so it won't go flat.) But, Baby Jogger feels bad for me so they will sell me the tire for $15.

*Kindle question-can you "re loan" a book that you've already borrowed? For example, if I don't finish it in the allotted time, can the person let me borrow it again? DAR would know-she is a Kindle queen-hopefully, she is reading!

*Two amazing recipes I have tried in the last two weeks and become obsessed with?  P Dubs stuffed shells and peanut butter pie. Do yourself a favor and at least make the shells once. Cause dude? They rock. And the pie? Yeah, my homegirl Shannon made it and brought me a piece at work. I licked the Tupperware clean. No joke. I requested it for my work 'baby sprinkle'. It was so good.

*We are transitioning Emma into her new bedroom. To say the amount of material shit in our house is on my last nerve would be an understatement. I am about to lose my mind. I want to throw away/donate/sell SO MUCH STUFF. I cannot take it. How have we accumulated this much crap in almost 7 years? I am getting rid of it. It is ridiculous, and I'm not taking it around to see if other people want it or can use it. That's what Goodwill is for. Sorry husband.

*I am STILL looking for a daybed for our new playroom. I think I have narrowed it down to a metal one, because I don't want the playroom to look like a bedroom. I think a wooden one will make it look like that. I am cruising Amazon for beds, but any suggestions on where you found one would be great!

What are you all up to this weekend? We will be moving clothes/sorting clothes and generally trying to get Emma in the new room and start "de-girly-fying" the nursery for HME. Also on the agenda? Relaxing, and lots of it. Kindle, and lots of it.

Next up, we're out of town for Easter and two weekends after that, a family baby sprinkle in Bham. Dude, that's a lot of driving. Gotta get my chill on now.

Cravings

Below are my latest cravings, in no particular order.

Maybe this is why this boy is close to 3.5 pounds already!

You won't go back. 

Ummm, yum. And healthy. But a tad expensive around $4 a box.

Has been my nightly dessert. Until something else came along.

 I bought a bag of pretzel sticks for Emma, and now I'm into them!

 I've never been a pretzel fan, but of course, things change when preg!

This is my new dessert craze. Publix brand lime sherbet and

 tropical pineapple sherbet. Soooo good.

Publix had strawberries on sale last weekend, 2/$5, so I bought a bunch several to enjoy.

I had to go back to Publix yesterday for another carton to get me through the week.

Apples. Alone or with peanut butter. Lately it's been Gala or Jazz.

 Navel oranges. One or two per day!

Daily breakfast-lots of protein! 9 grams per bar. No more morning headaches!

We had couscous on Tuesday night, and I called Jason Wednesday night begging him to stop and get me some for dinner. He came home with six boxes! You're a good man Charlie Brown! Now, I have dinner all week. Topped with toasted pine nuts and goat cheese plus some lemon juice=OUTSTANDING. Now, I have to figure out what J is going to eat........................

What do you crave on a daily basis??

Anxious

I have to keep telling myself this is normal.

This super anxious feeling I keep having when I think about adding another baby to our family. I wanted this so bad. I still do. But, I am so scared of how it will change our family balance.

Right now, I'm doing a good job of pushing it out of my mind when I dwell. But, it is coming to the surface.

I am anxious about Emma and the change she will go through. Will she act out? Change her behaviors? Beg for attention? Be jealous or sad? That's my little love nug-I only want the best for her.

I am anxious about staying home from work. Will I love it? Hate it? Go crazy? Beg for Jason to come home early and help me?

I am anxious about having one income.

I am anxious about raising two children under two.

I am anxious about raising a boy.

I am really anxious about getting all of the things done on my list before HME arrives. Basic stuff like set up his nursery, set up Emma's new room, make a playroom, etc.

I am anxious about finishing the school year SO pregnant.

I am anxious about all of the people who are worried about bigger things, while I worry about getting a playroom made, a nursery set up, curtains found, etc. Get real Susannah.

I am anxious about having a second C Section and taking care of Emma. I want her to still know "normal." I actually had someone at work tell me that I shouldn't have another C Section because I wouldn't be able to take care of my child and that wasn't fair to her.

I am anxious about breastfeeding/pumping.

I am anxious in general.

I want this to be a seamless transition for our family. It won't be. There will be bumps. We will make it. I am still nervous about it all.

I want time to blend with my new family, but I want/need help.



I know this is normal: pregnancy hormones and life changes cause anxiety.  I have read several of your blogs about the anxiety you are facing as you prepare for the birth of your second (or more) child.

What do you/did you do to deal with this anxiety?

I need to let go. It will be okay. But, for an OCD type A personality, that's hard. And things still need to get prepared for baby boy. :)

Loving and Missing

Things I am LOVING right now:

*Feeling my sweet boy move all the time now. It's crazy how much more he is going to town now. I guess he is getting bigger and more active. He's probably about to run out of room!

*Luna bars-lemon zest flavor.

*Pedicures-it is soooo induglent to me to have someone wash, clean, scrub, scrape, and paint my toenails. Plus, the massage of the legs is to die for. I would get one every week if I could!

*Chips-of any flavor-I am seriously in love with kettle chips right now though.

*My Kindle! But, I feel really bad about the HUGE stack of books I had set aside before J bought me the Kindle. They must be read before I can buy myself any  new books. Maybe I will compromise with reading one real book, then reading a Kindle book? Thoughts please.

*32 days of school left!!!!!!!!

*This growing belly-even if it is uncomfortable sometimes.

*Husband (duh). When Emma and I got home from our travels, he had cleaned the whole house (like REALLY cleaned), gotten me tulips, and Emma a puzzle. Such a good guy! I told him that he shouldn't have let me see how well he could really clean, because now I will expect more help! Haha!

Things I am MISSING right now:

*Wine-particularly zinfandel. No clue why. I typically end my pregnancies craving some type of alcohol. That's crazy!

*Sleep-seriously. I cannot get comfortable for having to turn my giant self over 3034 times per night. And getting up to tee. And hearing a noise. It's the mom radar built in for crying babies. I just want to sleep through the night. :) I guess I'm getting ready for little to no sleep again. :)

*Regular pants-I love maternity panel pants, but I am tired of the same FOUR pairs that I wear on a weekly basis. Although, over Spring Break, I rotated between two pairs of jeans. Yeah. I'm scared to show my white legs in my preggo shorts. Plus, someone might pass out if they see my ankles.

*Being on/playing with my phone all day long-can't do that now that I'm back to work.

*Not having to cook/clean up. When I was out of town, my mom did all of that, and it was super nice to just chill.

*Having all of that free time to do laundry and other household chores.

*Did I mentuion sleep?? :)

What things are you loving and missing right now?

World Travelers-ok, South Eastern US travelers

Well, we kicked off our Spring Break on Friday at 3:01, as promised. I didn't offish get on the road until about 4:20 because I had to deal with dog children and getting Emma from the baby sitter's house.

I guess I underestimated how long of a trip the drive from Atl to Nashville would really take (with a  toddler and an almost 30 week pregnant woman), because we stopped SIX times to go to the bathroom, feed baby, feed mommy, go to the bathroom, etc. It was ridic. Emma passed out in Manchester around 7:30 or 8:00, and we rolled into Grizaland about 9:00.

I put Emma down and gossiped with Laura and Cory until late (11:00!!) ha!

Emma met Peebles the next day, and they spent the majority of their time on this awesome playmat (that I promptly ordered from Amazon).

They got along really well. Check out LG's blog for more deets. Emma loved giving Peebs toys (piles of them) and then taking them back in ten minutes time and saying, "Mine!" Yikes on sharing. We have some work to do.

We went to see my Grannie while I was in Nashville. We stopped by Ivey Cakes for some (8) cupcakes. Emma got a mini cupcake and put it down after dinner.

Emma rediscovered her love of the exersaucer while at Peebs' house. Here she is hiding his Weeble Wobbles underneath and then fetching them.

I got it!! And it is glorious. And I may have had a small breakdown in the store when they informed me that I could not use any coupons on a Baby Jogger stroller. Those mother humps are already making $700 off of me, then won't let me use a 20% off coupon on the stroller. Puh-lease. Whatev. I am very pleased, and after sister put it together, we took the girls on a cruise around the neighborhood.

Spring Break Plans!

I cannot WAIT to blow this pop stand of a town on Friday at 3:01 pm! I'm jetting out of work and heading North! After, of course, I go home and let the pups out and feed them. THEN , I'm getting the babe and we are heading to Nashville to see LG and Grannie!!!

LG has some awesome, special, once a year consignment sales for us to hit up this weekend. I am hoping to find some clothes for this child, lest he come out and have nothing to wear except the daygown my momma is making him.

Then, we are going to play with my awesome grannie. She is fitting us into her busy bridge schedule. Girlfriend is 88 and practically plays bridge as a job at Vandy.

I am much anticipating some shopping, eating, gossiping, and generally just hanging out with our babies!!!

Then, on Monday, I get to go see my parents and sissy and brother and niecey Nash!! I haven't seen them in over a month!!!

We are going to play, eat, cook out, and shop! I plan to get my awesome rad stroller recommended by LG and Nicole.

(A little blurry, but still rad nonetheless!)

Then, I'll pick up my awesome two way monitor, thanks to my in laws!

(I know you've seen these pictures before, but I really can't handle blog posts without pictures.)

I have been stockpiling Buy Buy Baby coupons and HOPE I can use some on the stroller. I know I can use some on the monitor.

I'm just super excited to leave town and do something not in my routine. I am in a major rut-this is a super late spring break for us.

Plus, I need to rejuvenate before standardized testing and more conferences!

Husband will be staying behind to work on month end stuff (financial life!) and start getting Emma's big girl room ready. He will be building her shelving in the closet and hopefully setting up the criblet and other room stuff. We only have about 10 more weeks, so we have to get it together! No more traveling or entertaining after I get back-gotta get the crack down!

What all are you doing for a spring vacay?? If not a vacay, then a break? (I know, most people don't get spring break.............but your kids do! )
