Two "Mommy" Questions

OK moms, I need some advice!

What can I put Emma in when she outgrows her swaddles? This is rapidly approaching, and I need to be prepared since she is ADDICTED to swaddling.

Also, have you found any place that you can get really good deals on Disney movies? I want to start Emma's Disney movie collection now! I had practically EVERY animated Disney movie growing up. My friend Jill hooked me up with a ten dollar off coupon at http://www.snowwhiteoffer.com/ for Snow White, and Emma is getting that for Christmas. But, I still need to start building up. I know at most retail stores they are at least $20, and most of these movies are "released from the vault" only a few times over the years. I have no idea why. So, any suggestions???

  1. What about that potato sack thingy? It looked like it would do for a little while?

  2. I have heard of of a lot of people just using regular blankets for swaddling and wrapping up that way. We try to add to our Disney collection when they come out with new ones. You might could try Ebay?

  3. I found some extra large swaddlers...But I had to order them from Target.com. They are supposed to work with bigger babies over 15 lbs...you might check those out.

  4. Babies R Us has some sack swaddle things which has a zippered part that you put them in that just looks like a potato sack and then it has a velcro part that attaches that swaddles them. Maia wore this until she was like 7 or 8 months old at night... There are larger ones.. you just have to shop around a bit.

  5. Also I am sure (if you haven't already) you will start getting lots of junk mail and there is a Disney Movie club and usually the first 4 movies are dirt cheap and then they are a little spency after that. But you can always get the cheap ones and then cancel. Also you could always get them used like on Amazon..

  6. I'm not sure about the swaddling because Ellie would never stay in hers. Check on eBay for the Disney movies. That's where my sister has been looking. Or if you go to Blockbuster and just buy their rentals out right they are a little less. Good luck. :) XOXO
