Okay folks, here is the menu for the upcoming week. Now, next Monday, husband and I will be heading out of town to Nashville to visit my Grannie Annie and hopefully meet a dear bloggy bestie IRL! So, we won't have to menu plan, cook, or grocery shop until we return to Atlanta on the Friday after Thanksgiving! Yay!
As always, thanks Mrs. Newlywed for starting this up. And sob, she has gone private for grad school matters for the time being. I will wait patiently for my Misadventures fix. :D S0, no linking until she reopens for business.
Monday-Spaghetti with meatballs, salad
Tuesday-Grilled chicken with "dirty" brown rice and broccoli
Wednesday-(WW meeting at 5:30) leftover Santa Fe soup and Tostitos
Thursday-Turkey burgers with baked Doritos and broccoli
Friday-Pork chops with roasted potatoes and green beans
Saturday-Jason's BBQ grilled chicken with "Mrs. Alison" rice and spinach stuffed squash
Sunday-out to dinner!

Okay, mom will ask me this, so "dirty" brown rice is just Success brown rice cooked, then add a can of Campbell's French Onion soup. The end. "Mrs. Alison" rice is rice that my mom's best friend makes. It is delish! It is 1C rice, 1 onion, 1/2 stick butter, 1 jar mushroom pieces, 11 0z chicken broth, and 11 oz water. Melt butter and brown rice in it for about 3-5 minutes. Mix it all up and put it in a greased casserole dish for 1 hour on 350. No lid on it!
Enjoy our weekly photo sesh!
